According to a study by Centre for Economics and Business Research, 92% of of the British workforce would be able to manage their time more effectively, if they had flexibility. The study, which surveyed 1,272 Brits, found that 52% of respondents would be able to use up to three hours of their working week more effectively, if given the opportunity to work flexibly. On Top of this, 9% of respondents indicated that they would be able to devote more than six extra hours to work tasks each working week. Cost Effective

In the last 10 years, the number of people that spend more than 2 hours of commuting to and from work has increased by 72%. According to a Trades Union Congress’ analysis, us Brits could save a whopping £3.8bn and 533 million hours a year in commuting time if we were to use a local coworking space a few times a week. And if you were to look at how much the commuting time costs, than savings rise to over £7bn. Imagine how much you could save if you were using your local WorkClub for 3 days of the week?

Accomplishment

A report by Microsoft in 2013 found that about 70% of UK office workers get more done if they work flexibly, and 38% say they are more creative when working outside the office. The report also found that 92% do not consider having more distractions as the largest obstacle to flexible working.
